Organic Cattle
We have a home reared herd of North Devon cross cows which graze organic pastures all summer. A bull runs with the herd from June to September. The cows calve in the Spring, each cow rearing only her own calf on milk in our permanent pastures. The calves stay with their mothers for 10 months and are weaned naturally.
